Finding Cragskeep

To the Pits Apparently I was not the only one to have a disturbed night. Claudie woke with a scream of fear, and what sounded like a name tore from her throat. It woke me, the echoes of my own disquiet reverberating through me. In spite of the desolate beauty of the city, I was starting to not like this place. We gathered ourselves and Gisir left us saying we should make it out of The Wastes before the end of the day. Mace and Magni did one final search of the ruble in the temple, just to see if any other items of note could be found. Mace did pick up some nice rocks...they seemed to make him happy so who am I to judge? We left the temple and Mace asked if we could go to check out the tower that they had seen the night before while scouting. In a fit of 'why the hell not' we headed over to check it out. The doors must have been over 12 feet high and it had once been an impressive building, but most of the floors above had caved in and it was hard to tell what the tower had bee

Steel and Dreams The morning had us up early and down in the mess for breakfast. Magni came up with the idea of seeing if there were any troops going in our direction that we could travel with for a time. Claudie said her name was Octavia. We met the sergeant at the gate, and found that Rhyse was part of this troop. We had a good chat as we traveled. Unfortunately we were not traveling the same di

Travel to Millhill

A Daring Rescue The morning broke clear. I woke with a new excitement. We were about to embark on our first long job as a group. I started my day carefully folding the cloak back into it's package and...sigh...repacking my backpack. Really it's a small thing if I can keep my masterpiece well tended, and it brings me comfort. I often wonder what it was like for other adventurers, packing and repacking bags and getting so good at it that they could fit everything they needed into a small backpack and have it ready to go in no time. Really is something special. Anyway, we managed to get going, and after some discussion around weather to try and buy a cart or horses, discovering how freakishly expensive they were and giving up the whole idea, we made our way out of Skyhold and off on the road again. We were headed towards Millhill the fort town to the south west. It was a bit of a wet day, but overall a comfortable day. We found an appropriate stand of trees to roost under and pas
